Cotoneaster Horizontalis Variegated - 14cm

Variegated Cotoneaster horizontalis is a low, spreading shrub grown for its distinctive herringbone branching and cream-edged foliage. It works particularly well over low walls, banks, rockeries and garden edges where the layered branch pattern can be seen clearly. Small seasonal flowers can be followed by decorative berries, adding interest beyond the foliage. The variegation lightens shaded edges and provides contrast beside darker evergreen plants. Once established, the shrub is relatively resilient, but good drainage and some regular pruning help keep the branching attractive rather than congested.
