Crassula arborescens subsp. undulatifolia 'Max Cook' is a sculptural succulent grown for fleshy, wavy-edged leaves and a branching shrub-like habit. The distinctive foliage gives it strong architectural value in contemporary pots, succulent collections, rockeries and dry-style gardens. Larger specimens can make excellent container features because the plant develops a woody framework while retaining a compact, textural canopy. Like most crassulas, it stores water in its leaves and is best treated as a drought-tolerant plant rather than watered on a fixed frequent schedule. Bright light encourages sturdy growth.
