Jacaranda Mimosifolia - 20cm

Jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia) is a deciduous tree suited to feature tree, avenue planting, shade tree, and large gardens. Its broad crown, spreading, and open canopy habit gives it a clear structural role in the landscape, whether used as a feature, screen, avenue or larger garden anchor. Supplied in a 20cm pot, it is a useful starting size for establishing a long-term planting while still being manageable to position and water during establishment. At maturity it may reach around 10-15m high and 8-10m wide, so allow adequate space from buildings, paving and competing trees. Use it where the canopy and overall form can develop without repeated hard pruning.
