Pinus Thunbergii Yatsabusa - 20cm

Pinus thunbergii 'Yatsabusa' is a compact Japanese black pine cultivar grown for its dense branching, rugged evergreen needles and strong architectural form. It has the character of a traditional pine in a slower, garden-friendly habit, making it useful in Japanese-inspired gardens, rockeries, courtyards and feature containers. With age it develops increasingly interesting branch structure and can become a handsome specimen without requiring the space of a full-sized black pine. Its evergreen foliage provides year-round texture, while selective pruning can be used to emphasise the natural structure when a more sculptural appearance is desired.
